Following a very successful “Indicators of Development – Districts of Nepal” case study, ICIMOD has forged partnership with CBS, Nepal to conduct similar studies. As a result, a comprehensive census database of 2001 has been integrated into GIS and to this effect, SNV-Nepal has joined in the partnership by signing a MoU to provide complementary support for the study. A publication with the census data and trends over the last four censuses along with an interactive CD-ROM are the targeted outputs of the study.
