National Training Course

A 10 day training course on ‘Application of Geo-Informatics for Water Resources Management’ jointly organized by LGED, Global Water Partnership – South Asia and ICIMOD was conducted in Dhaka from 3 to 14 November. The objective of this training course was to extend good understanding of proper application of Geo-Informatics reality to water resources management. As Geo-Information is an evolving technology, its new concepts, new data model and new products will immensely help in solving many problems relating to water resources and in the context of Bangladesh, the subject bears importance in harnessing the huge potentialities of water resources.
